Jayme Mazzochi Collaborators Dave Ross and Jayme Mazzochi, live and work together in Los Angeles, CA. David represents the business side of the relationship, while Jayme is the creative eye. Together they believe each design should have a function, and also be beautiful. Our designs are created from a single, flat piece of acrylic. We pride ourselves on creating simple pieces of furniture that function as design and art. Jayme studied art and design since the age of 9. She received her BFA of design from the University of Michigan. She moved to Los Angeles in 1998, and works professionally as a graphic designer and photographer. Most recently, Jayme expanded her interest in design by exploring interior & furniture design. David is from Washington D.C., the origin of his family’s acrylic furniture business. Before designing & producing acrylic furniture, Dave studied business at USC, while producing independent projects. He started designing & manufacturing modern acrylic furniture three years ago, and continues to explore new ideas using acrylic, a long lasting, durable, functional, and beautiful material. For the past three years, Jayme and David have worked together on acrylic designs. Currently they are establishing their definitive line to be launched in spring 2006. The new line incorporates colors and patterns, and allows the consumer to customize each piece to match their own personal style. |
